I am the youngest of three children, born into a family of artists, musicians, actors and videographers. At the age of twelve, I participated in my family’s ceramic business; I learned to paint, pour and fire pieces. By fifteen, I diverted my interests  to film photography.

How it Began

My intense passion for art began with a college art history project.  An A+ grade for  an Edvard Munch assignment was the starting point for my fascination with the abstract, a fascination that continued to grow. I never miss the opportunity  to visit another museum, show or gallery. One of the biggest thrills in my life aside from Times Square on New Year’s Eve was my visit to The Picasso Museum in Paris.

I left my corporate marketing career to pursue my passions – art, writing, graphic and web design. My love of art continues to flourish, as well as my desire to learn as much as I can. I’m an “art scientist”, of sorts continually experimenting with as many types of mediums, substrates and techniques that I can get my hands on.

The Process

My art reflects who I am;  passionate, unpredictable, spiritual, and spontaneous.   Most of my work begins without a preconceived notion of what the piece will  be. When I place a medium on a surface, it reveals to me the direction in which I will take; one that’s guided by innermost emotions and intuition. It’s not about what I intend to paint; it’s what the painting reveals to me.
